BIO:

Kevin grew up in Alden and currently lives in Akron. He and Denise were married in 1995, and they have 5 young adult children (Emma, Andrew, Trey, Jonas, and Katherine) who are an active and integral part of Alden Christian Fellowship. Kevin has been a General Contractor for 28+ years. He enjoys most anything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping with his family.

Kevin served on the Seneca Gospel Mission board for 25+ years and is currently a board member of the Adirondack Mennonite Camping Association. In regards to church leadership, he has served in various roles including Mission Board, Church Council and Elder.

He is currently the Administrative Elder at Alden Christian Fellowship, a role he has served in since 2021. He believes that it is by God’s purpose alone and by His grace that he is in this position, an instrument for God’s use to help lead the body at Alden through its transition to a non-denominational family of believers. Having attended Alden Mennonite Church from infancy Kevin grew up knowing the Lord, but he is excited to be discovering Him in a new and deeper way.  His desire is to use God’s truth to move people away from status quo and towards growth.

BIO:

Dave is the Preaching/Teaching Elder at Alden Christian Fellowship. He was asked to fill the pulpit at Alden Mennonite Church in 2021 and is thankful that God has allowed him to be a part of its transition to a non-denominational, autonomous congregation.

Since his salvation in 1983, Dave has ministered in various ways. He led a chapel service at a local homeless shelter for 30+ years. He was the Executive Director of Alden Pregnancy Information Center and two satellite centers in Tonawanda and Buffalo. He later served as Chairman of the Board for WhyLife Ministries, Inc. For 20 years he ministered in a maximum-security prison. He has been on two mission trips to Uganda to provide training for local pastors there, and since God has given him a desire to continue discipling believers, he facilitates a weekly men’s Bible study at ACF.

Dave married his wife Cyndi in 1976. They have two grown children, Missy (married to Brandon) and Andy (married to Jenn), and five grandchildren,
Carter, Miles, Blake, Kaiden and Princess Kylee. Dave and Cyndi have lived in Alden since 1981. He retired from the Buffalo News in 2007.

Dave is blessed to be able to use his gifts at ACF and is resolved to continue diligently studying and using the scriptures to encourage, teach, and equip the body of Christ, most notably the next generation of leaders.

BIO:

Trey has always had a heart to help others- raising money through sponsors of his soccer games, serving the hungry in Buffalo, and traveling to an orphanage/school in Mexico as an English teacher from '22 to '23. From late '23 to '24, Trey traveled to Eastern Africa three times and invested in the lives of young men and women by teaching them the gospel and encouraging them in their faith.

Trey is currently being mentored  by David Dissette and is the current worship leader of ACF. He is pursuing a career in law enforcement and volunteers with Newstead Fire Department.

Trey plans to stay local and continue ministering at ACF. He is excited to see what God has next and to see what He does in the area. As ACF and the surrounding churches proclaim the gospel and make disciples, he is excited to see the church grow, even to the point of planting new churches. He wants to see the world turned upside down for Jesus, and is excited for Christians to find that for which Christ laid hold of them for (Philippians 3:12), living lives radically-devoted to Him.
