
OUR STORY
In 1924, Alden Mennonite Church was established on West Main
Street. The congregation moved to 923 Two Rod Road in 1994. Part of the current facility was formerly a Christian school. Throughout the years, the church impacted the area with church services, Bible studies, youth programs, community events, and service projects. In September of 2024, there was a "100 year celebration" in recognition of the church's Mennonite past. A large gathering was hosted, and old friends came together for a time of worship and reflection. To commemorate the new venture that was sprouting from an old foundation, a plaqued stone was placed outside the building. On May 4, 2025, Alden Christian Fellowship was officially inagurated. A new sign was unveiled, three elders were installed, and the members committed themselves to each other and the work ahead. Fundamentally, Alden Christian Fellowship was “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20)."
